Caroline and Katherine Brickley are twin sisters as well as the Co-Founders of Blossom: An award-winning children’s media company dedicated to growing readers and leaders through an enriching combination of original stories and story-based content. Inspired by their mother who made up stories just for them each night before they went to bed, the sisters spent their childhood coming up with stories of their own and bringing them to life together to be shared with family and friends through handwritten books, music, theatrical productions, homemade videos, and more. As they grew, so did their passion, and during both high school and college the sisters founded two children’s media companies to help children and their families come together to learn and grow through the power of stories. The most recent of which, Blossom, was developed and launched from Caroline and Katherine’s shared dorm room at Binghamton University in 2017 upon the publication of their debut picture book, The Blossom Shoppe. Motivated by the vision of a world where every child has access to the resources and support they need to learn, grow, and blossom to their fullest potential, Caroline and Katherine's story of The Blossom Shoppe touches on both timeless and timely social-emotional themes pivotal to all children's development. They hope its important messages of family, the importance of inclusion, and how being exactly who we are is the most magical power of all will spread far and wide, and inspire young readers around the world to use their one-of-a-kind qualities to make the world a more wonderful, colorful, and kind place for everybody and every bud.
